Mossy Oak APX™ Velocity™ Jacket (4335)
After extensive field-testing, the Velocity™ Jacket proved to be our favorite all-season big game hunting jacket. The shell fabric is 450gram textured fleece that is both water-repellent and wind-resistant, providing amazing warmth with very little bulk. The quarter zip pullover-style jacket is fully lined with Scent-Lok® - the industry leader in scent-containment technology. Inside the neck of the Velocity™ Jacket is a close-fitting, scent-supressing seal that keeps scent from escaping from the top of the jacket. Across the tops of the arms and shoulders you'll find an abrasion resistant fleece that adds durability and provides stretch for better mobility.

Articulation
A clothing and glove design meant to comfortably accommodate and move with joints like elbows, shoulders, knees, and knuckles to allow for a full range of movement.
Brushed
A fabric that is extremely quiet and feels warm and soft because it has a slightly fuzzy surface achieved through a special finishing process by which brushes or other abrading devices raise surface fiber from twisted yarns.
Moisture Management
The ability of a fabric to disperse moisture and allow it to pass through to the surface of the fabric, so that evaporation can take place. Moisture management fabrics have a unique fiber construction that transfers moisture away from the skin without absorbing it. Allowing moisture to evaporate regulates body temperature and increases muscle performance.
Scent-Lok
Scent-Lok® Odor Eliminating Technology™ is constructed of activated carbon that is proven to absorb human odors. The specialized fabric allows human scent and moisture to pass through the fabric, make contact with the activated carbon, and release from the garment as "filtered" air. Activated carbon is the most effective odor-eliminating substance known to man. Scent-Lok® utilizes 100% coconut carbon, which is more porous and therefore absorbent than garments made with charcoal fabric. Scent-Stop™
Scent-Stop™ technology from Mossy Oak Apparel utilizes the most innovative anti-microbial technologies available today. The bulk of human odor is caused by the proliferation of bacteria on the skin. Scent-Stop™ uses a range of leading anti-microbial technologies, including Aegis Microbe Shield™ and Thermore™ Therma-Scent®.
Aegis Microbe Shield™ features an anti-microbial treatment that is molecularly bonded to the fabric to create a more effective and durable protection against bacteria growth. This process allows numerous washings of treated garments without impairing the effectiveness.
Thermore™ Therma-Scent® is a unique form of anti-microbial insulation that utilizes an electrostatic process to attract and neutralize bacteria within the insulation, creating a tremendous amount of surface area to control human scent.
